In a recent media interaction, Chiranjeevi confirmed that Vishwambhara is slated for a grand theatrical release in June or July 2026. Insiders suggest that the team is specifically eyeing July 9 or 10 as the potential date to maximize the summer holidays and the monsoon audience.
This update comes as a major relief to fans who were worried the film might be pushed further into 2027. Chiranjeevi explained that the delay was necessary to perfect the high-octane VFX shots that dominate the film’s second half.
A Grand Fantasy Vision by Vashishta
Directed by Vashishta (of Bimbisara fame), Vishwambhara is touted to be one of the most expensive films in Telugu cinema history. Produced by UV Creations, the project reportedly features:
- International VFX Standards: Over 70% of the film involves complex CGI, with several Hollywood-based studios reportedly involved.
- A Massive Budget: Rumors suggest a budget exceeding ₹200 crores, with a significant portion dedicated solely to the fantasy world-building.

Musical Magic by MM Keeravani
The film’s music is another massive talking point. Oscar-winner MM Keeravani is composing the score. Reports indicate that the music sittings were held at Chiranjeevi’s farmhouse to ensure a “classic” touch, with the Megastar himself being deeply involved in the soundtrack’s development.
